What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember information about your browsing.
This site sets no cookies
We use no cookies, no local storage and no other means of recording information on your device — not even to make the site work. Your display language is determined by the address of the page you are viewing, not by a stored preference.
There is therefore nothing to accept, decline or delete.
Tracker-free audience measurement
We measure site traffic with Plausible Analytics, installed on our own server. It sets no cookie, creates no identifier that would let us recognise you from one visit to the next, and does not follow you across any other site.
The information produced consists solely of aggregated statistics: number of visits, pages viewed, time spent, device type, country and referring site. No data is sold, shared with third parties or combined with any other processing.
Why you are not asked for consent
Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act makes reading or writing information on your terminal equipment subject to your consent. Our audience measurement does neither: no consent is required, and we have chosen not to impose a banner that would serve no purpose.
Should we ever adopt a tool that does store information on your device, a consent banner would be introduced and this page updated beforehand.
Configuring your browser
You can also configure your browser to accept, refuse or delete cookies. Disabling certain cookies may, however, affect your browsing experience. Each browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) offers dedicated settings in its help menu.
